I have spent a dollar on worse things, but if I had known that it was that short, I probably would have just Googled for a Herobrine fiction database instead. This is not an exaggeration: the "novel" ends at 67% on my Kindle. There isn't anything in there that's going to stop me from letting Rabbit read it, no swearing or other questionable language.Īll of the players seem to be dudes, which is unfortunate but it's not like this is a novel that Rabbit will be reading for days - it's 34 pages long and ads take up the last 1/3 of those 34 pages. I caught myself skimming a little but I'll chalk that up to Minecraft not being one of my areas of interest. There are a few typos but less than I expected. It's a written version of those videos, with a little more structure: some members of a group tell their Herobrine stories to prove to an unbeliever that Herobrine exists, then they all band together against him one last time. If you've seen those "I saw Herobrine" videos, you know what to expect. I picked Legend of Herobrine up for her for kicks, and thought I'd read it first since the reviews weren't exactly enlightening. Herobrine may have never officially appeared in Minecraft, but after a decade of legends and stories hes likely surpassed the need. Honestly, I can't tell if she buys them or not, but she's watched a ton of those videos. He's the Minecraft version of the hook-hand murderer. Honestly, this might have not been something that could be categorized as "urban legend" due to how small it was, and has only stuck in my mind since I was young and was looking for Herobrine related stuff.I do not understand the appeal, but there are tons of YouTube vids wherein gamers discuss their encounters with Herobrine.
